Benefits + Key Ingredients
Eucalyptus is a natural decongestant. It helps to ease chest congestion, clears nasal passageways, facilitates easy breathing, enhances feelings of relaxation, and creates a refreshing feeling.
Peppermint's cooling power comes from the high percentage of menthol in its leaves, and due to its decongestant and expectorant properties, it helps clear the nasal passageway to promote the relief of congestion and cough and to encourage easy breathing. When diluted with a carrier oil and rubbed into the feet, it can work as a natural effective fever reducer.
Camphor is known to promote fuller and deeper breathing. For this reason, it is commonly used in vapor rubs for its ability to offer relief to a congested respiratory system by clearing the lungs and addressing symptoms of bronchitis and pneumonia.
Menthol is derived from peppermint and is thought to promote easier breathing, temporarily relieve nasal congestion, soothe sore throats, and alleviate fever symptoms, coughs, headaches, and sinus discomforts.
To Use: Rub on chest or feet to help ease congestion and open nasal passageways.
